New Blog

Hi everyone!

First of all I wanted to thank everyone who has been following along and reading PDSB over the past year. Second I wanted to say that I have started a new blog, called Dirt Road Diva, where I will now be devoting my blogging time. For now I decided to keep the PDSB blog up, but nothing new will be blogged about. I really do encourage y'all to take a look at my NEW blog... and maybe leave a comment or two! Thirdly, I want to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Winter Wonderland

For the last week I've had snow at my house. But this morning, I woke up to even more snow!!! I love the look of a fresh snow fall. It's so clean, white, sparkly, and fluffy. Best of all a fresh snow fall covers all the ugliness, making everything look like a winter wonderland! 

As of yesterday, Remembrance Day was honoured, which means as of today I am officially in Christmas mode!!! My Christmas carols playlist is being uploaded onto my ipod as I type away!! Oh so exciting. I TRY to wait until Remembrance Day is over (it really isn't easy) before I start busting out the Christmas carols on my ipod. 

One of my biggest pet peeves is the clashing of holidays. From October it should go turkey, then jack-o-lanterns, then poppies, and THEN the Christmas tree (in Canada any ways). For my lovely American readers it should be jack-o-lanterns, poppies, turkey, and THEN the Christmas tree.  There should be NO overlapping... it is just so tacky... but that's just my opinion! 

I can't wait for exams to be over with so I can start my Christmas baking, which is in exactly 30 days!!! If I could, I would start my Christmas baking now. However, I have a procrastination problem at the best of times. Adding Christmas into the mix would be like trying to put out fire with gasoline. This reminds me, I still have a page left to do in my 6 page essay!

I am SO Excited!!!

For those who don't already know, I LOVE country music. I already gushed about it in a previous blog post (Country. Love. Kisses). It's no joke, I am seriously in love with it. My ipod would be so empty without a little country.

Which is why....
I am so so so unbelievably excited to flaunt that last night I bought my tickets to see ERIC CHURCH!!!!!! February 1st cannot come fast enough. For the record, I purchased the tickets with a drink in my hand. Isn't online shopping the greatest??!

We really did luck out though. I found out about this radio station presale promotion and scored third row seats for all 6 of us. I so am stoked to be going with my country girls.

Watch Out!!!!

After much unnecessary hassle, I officially and FINALLY have a VISA card!!! It may just be a boring student card, with absolutely no frills, but it IS the key that opens up my world to online shopping. OMG OMG OMG!! I haven't felt this way since I got my drivers license in high school... hello freedom!!! This could be dangerous.

I now need an excuse to go online shopping. Why? Because I REALLY wanna!!! Unfortunately last week my mom and I went on a shopping spree in Vancouver. Damn it!!! Ptff... like shopping has ever stopped me from online "window shopping". Oopsies!!
